QuestBoard Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of QuestBoard, a gaming event management app that runs inside the Root platform. By using QuestBoard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
QuestBoard operates within a Root community. Your use of the Root platform itself is also governed by Root’s own terms and policies.
Using QuestBoard
QuestBoard lets members of a Root community organize gaming events, manage tables and game types, make reservations, and coordinate supplies. You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and in compliance with these Terms, your community’s rules, and applicable law.
You are responsible for the content you create in the app — including event details, notes, reservations, and images — and for making sure you have the right to share it.
Acceptable Use
When using QuestBoard, you agree not to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing content
- Upload images or text you do not have the right to use
- Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the app, the Root platform, or other users’ data
- Misuse the app in a way that interferes with other members’ use
Community administrators may manage, edit, or remove content and reservations as part of running events.
Content and Data
Information you create in QuestBoard is visible to other members of your community as part of normal use. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
You retain ownership of the content you create. By posting it in QuestBoard, you grant the app permission to store and display it as needed to provide its features to your community.
Availability and Changes
QuestBoard is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, and the app may be unavailable at times due to maintenance, updates, or issues with the underlying platform. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuestBoard and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for lost data or missed events. QuestBoard is a tool to help coordinate gaming activities; you are responsible for your own events, reservations, and arrangements.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
