Node-ROOT Terms of Service
Last updated: August 25, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Node-ROOT, a visual workflow automation editor and engine that runs inside the Root platform. By using Node-ROOT, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Node-ROOT operates within a Root community. Your use of the Root platform itself is also governed by Root’s own terms and policies.
Using Node-ROOT
Node-ROOT lets you orchestrate events, conditions, and actions in your community. You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and in compliance with these Terms, your community’s guidelines, and applicable law.
You are responsible for the logic, templates, and content you configure inside your workflows — including the text templates and destination channels you specify — and for ensuring they respect community guidelines.
Acceptable Use
When using Node-ROOT, you agree not to:
- Configure automations that spam, harass, or abuse community members
- Circumvent community permission models or user roles
- Try to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the app, the Root platform, or other workflows
- Deploy loops or recursive message setups that generate excessive API traffic
Community administrators may modify, disable, or delete workflows and access logs as part of managing the community.
Content and Permissions
Node-ROOT respects the Root platform’s security and permission model. A workflow cannot perform any actions (such as sending messages or managing roles) that the underlying Root app/bot does not have scopes for in its manifest. You are responsible for ensuring that the app manifest matches the requirements of your workflows.
How your configuration information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and Changes
Node-ROOT is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, or remove features, node types, and executors, and the app may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or API issues with the underlying platform. We do not guarantee that your drafts or execution history will always be recoverable.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Node-ROOT and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for failures in background executions, message deliveries, or channel automation operations.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
